After the successful rescue, Agent Banks offers Harper a permanent position with the DEA. However, she turns it down, choosing to stay with the LAPD to continue fighting for custody of her daughter.

DEA Agent Michael Banks (a former undercover colleague of Harper’s) intervenes, as the DEA is already monitoring Ripper. Banks initially wants to use Bianca as an undercover asset to set up a buy.

After a chaotic chase—during which another vehicle rams Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen’s patrol car—the team successfully rescues Bianca and secures the drugs. The Subplots: Personal Growth & Professional Friction

Angela clashes with Detective Rita Calderon while interrogating a bank teller in a murder case. Though they initially butt heads over interrogation styles, they eventually reach a truce, and Calderon offers to help Lopez get back on the fast track to becoming a detective.

The central plot begins when Officer and his training officer, Nyla Harper , catch Nolan’s former confidential informant (C.I.), Bianca , attempting to buy drugs despite being clean for 30 days.

The plan goes south when a desperate Bianca shows up at Ripper’s door to warn him that the police are onto him. Ripper abducts Bianca in an SUV, leading to a frantic shootout at his base and a high-speed pursuit.
