Jason leads Sookie to a mysterious faerie nightclub where they find their cousin Hadley. There, they meet Claude, who reveals that their parents were actually murdered by a vampire drawn to the bridge by the scent of Sookie's blood on a discarded Band-Aid.
After a struggle where Sookie uses her faerie powers to repel him, the Vampire Authority arrives to take Russell into custody. Bill and Eric are forced to glamour Sookie and Alcide to forget the encounter; however, Bill only pretends to glamour Sookie, and she later uses her powers to restore Alcide’s memory.
