What did you think of the changes to the characters’ backstories? Necessary for TV, or too much of a departure?

Who is the Dragon Reborn? By expanding the mystery to include all the young protagonists, the show immediately grabbed the audience’s curiosity. It’s not just a "chosen one" story; it’s a "which one of you will save or break the world?" story.

From the jump, the visuals of the Two Rivers were stunning. We’re introduced to the core five—Rand, Egwene, Mat, Perrin, and Nynaeve—living a peaceful life that’s about to be shattered. The sense of "the calm before the storm" was palpable.

Rosamund Pike embodies the Aes Sedai perfectly—composed, mysterious, and undeniably powerful. That first massive channeling sequence during the Trolloc raid? Chills. It set a high bar for how magic (the One Power) looks and feels in this world.
