The game's story begins after the events of the movie. SpongeBob's dreams are manifesting in reality, warping space and time and altering Bikini Bottom, USA . To fix this "not normal" situation, the gang must enter SpongeBob's subconscious to recover the lost pages of a magical book and restore order.
