The deputies spend much of the episode treating the imposter like royalty, only to eventually realize their mistake. They abandon the confused man back at the airport and proceed to harass the real Prefect and his assistant for their appearance before driving away entirely. The Prefect of Wanganui | Reno 911

: Deputies Travis Junior and Trudy Wiegel represent the department at a local high school career day. Their recruiting pitch—which includes telling students that joining the force allows them to shoot people in Reno instead of overseas—struggles to compete with representatives from the Army and Peace Corps.

The central plot follows (Thomas Lennon) and Deputy Cherisha Kimball (Mary Birdsong) as they prepare to welcome a tribal leader from Reno’s sister city, Wanganui, New Zealand. However, the official greeting quickly devolves into chaos when they accidentally pick up a homeless man at the airport instead of the actual dignitary.
