While Border HQ deals with a sudden appearance of unknown Trion soldiers in Mikado City, the squad (Osamu Mikumo, Yuma Kuga, and Chika Amatori) travels to Shizuka City for a training retreat. Their peaceful training is interrupted when they encounter two mysterious individuals from another world: (Dub) 49 : Fugitives from Another World

The episode establishes the central conflict of the arc: Xeno and Lilith are fugitives fleeing from their home planet, , while being pursued by a man named Giev and his companion Charon . By the end of the episode, the Tamakoma squad finds themselves drawn into protecting these refugees from Giev’s advanced Trion soldier attacks.
