Detective James Knight is back in Los Angeles, assigned to the last-minute Independence Day shift. What starts as a standard holiday patrol quickly spiraling into chaos when Dezi (played by Jack Kilmer), a disgruntled and unbalanced EMT, begins posing as a police officer.
